Spring Break 2009
Friday, April 10th, 2009Sunny skies and clear water made for a perfect day of surfing for the Redondo and Santa Monica camps. Redondo campers started the day by getting fitted with wetsuits and boards, a light stretch and ocean safety lesson.
We don’t joke around by stating we’re a “serious” surf camp…just ask some of the surfers how they liked the opening ceremony of paddling around the quarter mile buoy!
Everyone deserves a gold star for the day…but we do have some superstars that we’d love to acknowledge: the Kashyap boys and John Lamb for catching the most waves at Redondo and super brave Maya at Santa Monica. There wasn’t a wave big enough to keep her from charging. Great job everyone!
Remember the best surfer in the water is the one having the most fun!
